Organ
Father Willis 1877, one of the finest in existence, modernised 1934 & 1969. Rebuilt Harrison & Harrison 1978 & 1993 it still sounds much as it did in 1877 which can be said for few Cathedral organs today. Henry Willis himself later confided in Sir Walter Alcock, who was the organist of Salisbury from 1917 to 1947, that he considered the organ at Salisbury his best.
