The College Choir was established in 1866 but the present choir is a mixed voice choir, formed in
1971. It consists mainly of Choral Exhibitioners with choral volunteers making up the numbers, with

Building
The college was founded in 1326 by Elizabeth, Lady de Clare and has Hugh Latimer as one of its
greatest alumni. Much rebuilding, surrounding 'Old Court' took place between 1638 & 1715,
possibly designed by Inigo Jones. The Chapel building was begun in 1763. Clare bridge connects it
to extensive gardens, redesigned in 1947, of lawns, borders, shaded walks and scented garden.
