Building
The college was founded in 1352 by the Guilds of Corpus Christi and the Blessed Virgin Mary, mainly for the training of priests. The Chapel was built in 1577 but was demolished to make way for New Court in 1827. It was subsequently rebuilt by William Wilkins. The Parker Library is a treasure house of Medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and early printed books.
