Choir
The choir consists of 16 boy choristers, educated at Magdalen College School, and 12 adult
Academical Clerks, undergraduates, and is directed by Bill Ives. It has made frequent appearances
on television and radio, a number of recordings as well as the film 'Shadowlands'. The choir sing
seven services a week.

Building
The college was founded in 1448 by William of Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester. It has some of the
most hautingly beautiful biuldings of Oxford set within a hundred acres of woodland, riverside
walks and gardens. Magdalen's Great Tower dominates the East entrance to Oxford.
