The choir is a mixed voice choir with 8 choral scholars and 1 organ scholar who trains and directs the choir.

Building
The college was founded in 1555 by Sir Thomas Percy, using the buildings of an earlier monastic foundation, Durham College.  The only surviving building is Trinity's Old Library, several fine new buildings were constructed in the 17th century and the Front Quadranle in the 19th century. The Chapel was designed by dean Aldrich and consecrated in 1694.
