Choir
The choir consists of 6 Gentlemen-in-Ordinary, professional singers, and 10 boy choristers from the
City of London School, who sing the Sunday service.
Cathedral
Building
The Chapel Royal at St James's was constructed by Henry V111 in honour of his marriage to Anne of
Cleves. Queen Victoria was married in the Chapel. Noted organists were Tallis, Byrd, Gibbons,
Purcell and Handel.
