Choir
St Mary's has a mixed voice choir of about 20 singers, some of whom are Choral Scholars, and many
of whom are from the two universities. It broadcasts regularly and gives many conerts as well as
touring overseas.

Building
The main body of the church dates from 1377, whilst the nave was completed before 1475, being
notable for its uniformity of style. St Mary's has a civic status as well as being the University
church.
